Nuts

Nuts are a popular type of fastener with an internal thread which are used with bolts and a variety of externally threaded fasteners. The most common is a hex nut which threads on to the end of the fastener and is then tightened with a spanner or a socket. Nyloc nuts are the second most popular type of hex nut. There are some types of insert non-hex nuts such as tee nuts and channel nuts which require the bolt to be tightened rather than the nut. Wing nuts are generally tightened by hand and are a quick-release fastener. At Fastco we have a wide range of different types of nuts available in zinc plated steel and stainless steel.
